The Beginning

Our first blog post as The CBSCA starts off with a simple concept. For those who are new to the company, we will start from where the title suggests, the beginning. The Canadian Baseball Strength and Conditioning Academy is owned and operated by Patrick Szpak, of Windsor Ontario, and Jeremy Trach, of Vancouver BC. While both individuals had very different Strength and Conditioning paths (See our bio page for more info), both of these paths led to the opportunity to be involved with the Toronto Blue Jays organization. Currently both Patrick and Jeremy are MiLB strength and conditioning coaches for minor league affiliates. As a result of over 5 combined years in the organization a great friendship was born. From this stemmed a new business relationship, The Canadian Baseball Strength and Conditioning Academy.

The company started as a simple idea that quickly evolved into what you see today; a way to give Canadian amateur athletes access to strength and conditioning coaches who hold themselves to those standards set forth by both professional organizations and the NCAA. It is our belief that all athletes, no matter their level of play deserve the same coaching standards as those players at the professional level. It is our goal to grow as a company as the opportunity becomes available. Currently we will be offering Fall 2015 High performance camps based in Vancouver, BC and Windosr, Ontario.

What the future holds, the possibilities are endless. Currently we are busy working on:

As a company and individuals we are truly grateful to get to be a part of the greatest game in the world. It is our passion for the game of baseball, and the strength and conditioning industry that drives us each and everyday. It is with great excitement that we would like to officially introduce you to "The Canadian Baseball Strength and Conditioning Academy."
